Minnesota Public Radio: Congress Reconsiders Restrictions On Flexible Spending Accounts For Health Care
Bills floating through Congress would lift some restrictions on flexible spending accounts and allow employees to set aside pre-tax earnings to pay for out-of-pocket health care expenses. ... Not everyone realized last January that they could no longer use their flex account dollars for over-the-counter medicines such as vitamin supplements or allergy drugs (Stawicki, 8/22).
