Key international experts in the bone field are to be featured speakers and session leaders at the upcoming European Congress on Osteoporosis & Osteoarthritis (IOF-ECCEO12). As the major European bone event of the year, IOF-ECCEO12 will present the latest research and clinical advances in the bone field.
The meeting is organized as a joint event of the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and the European Society for Clinical and Economic Aspects of Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis (ESCEO). The venue is the attractive Palais des Congr-s, located in Bordeaux, France, a port city renowned for its wine, gastronomy and historic architecture. The opening ceremony will be held at the magnificent Palais de la Bourse overlooking the River Garonne.

2nd IOF-ESCEO Pre-Clinical Symposium:
To underline their commitment to furthering innovative new translational research in the field, IOF and ESCEO will also hold the 2nd IOF-ESCEO Pre-Clinical Symposium. This 2-day event, held on site, will be chaired by Professor Stuart Ralston. Its unique format allows young researchers to showcase their latest research in numerous oral sessions, with opportunity for discussion and debate. The best pre-clinical abstracts will receive awards of 500 euro. A low registration fee of 150 euro (free for registrants of the clinical congress) will make this event accessible to post graduate students.
