In this post in Management Sciences for Health's (MSH) "Global Health Impact" blog, Crystal Lander, director of policy and advocacy at MSH, recaps speeches made by global leaders at last week's International Conference on Family Planning in Dakar, Senegal, and the International Conference on HIV and STIs in Africa (ICASA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, this week, having attended both events. "It is clear that leaders of all nations must step up not only with their wonderful statements on global health issues, but also with real money to support global health," she writes, adding, "I wait anxiously to see not just what the U.S. commits for global health in the upcoming years, but what African nations commit" (12/6).
