The annual Society for Endocrinology BES conference is taking place in Harrogate, UK from 19-22 March 2012.
Over 1000 of the world's leading endocrinologists will meet to discuss the latest developments in hormone science. The topic of endocrinology covers all medical and scientific disciplines involving the study of hormones. This includes diabetes, obesity, drugs in sport, osteoporosis, endocrine disruptors, fertility and reproduction and pituitary and thyroid disease.
We have a total of 9 plenary lectures, 12 symposia, 9 meet the expert sessions, 4 clinical management workshops and 5 oral communications sessions covering the most recent advances in endocrine research and patient care. Symposia will cover a wide range of topics including developmental programming of endocrine disease, testosterone treatment for men and the effects of human migration on the hormone system to name but a few.
