New Jersey Hospital Association expands Career Center

The New Jersey Hospital Association has expanded its Career Center by giving its members access to the National Healthcare Career Network (NHCN), an integrated alliance of nearly 300 recruiting career centers of professional associations. By joining the NHCN, NJHA can now connect its member organizations with access to more than 2 million specialized candidates in 13 disciplines, including nurses, allied health practitioners, operations experts, physicians and academic/research professionals.

Vice President of Human Resources Belinda Cooper comments, "As part of the NHCN, we can provide our healthcare members with the option to stay local in their talent searches or expand their searches to national pools of qualified candidates. This addition makes the NJHA Career Center more valuable and brings the next level of support for both healthcare employers and job seekers."

According to Carol Barber, managing director of the NHCN, "Employers would always prefer to hire from their local markets, but some positions require reach into outside talent pools. With over 9,000 healthcare job openings in New Jersey, the competition for top candidates is fierce.  Partnering with the NHCN allows NJHA to empower its members with convenient, one-click access to outstanding candidates near and far."
