This week, they have announced that over the next six months the company will be further expanding its personnel by 50 at its Hay-on-Wye site. This latest recruitment drive comes after a successful apprenticeship enrolment programme, and following the placement of four Undergraduates from Swansea University; reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting the development and education of the local community. Since April 2013, PCI has already recruited 40 staff members within the life sciences sector, signaling itself as one of the principal employers within the Life Sciences/Biotech industry in Wales.
The company is continually growing its footprint in the region and has recently opened a 23,000 sq. ft. storage and distribution facility and a 4,000 sq. ft. speciality pharma centre dedicated to potent pharmaceuticals, creating numerous opportunities in the area. PCI is dedicated to helping build the skills and expertise of the region, by employing local people to become experts in the field.
