Bestnet to distribute DuraNet Long Lasting Insecticide Nets

Bestnet A/S announced today that the company has entered into an agreement with Shobikaa Impex Pvt Ltd. in regard to DuraNet® Long Lasting Insecticide Nets (LLINs). On October 27, 2013 Bestnet obtained a license to manufacture DuraNet® at all Bestnet manufacturing facilities worldwide. Further, Bestnet will market, promote, sell and distribute DuraNet® in its own name, and Bestnet will participate in the worldwide tender business with DuraNet®.

DuraNet® (LLIN) was developed and is manufactured to save lives. DuraNet® is a ready-to-use mosquito bed net, making it easy to deploy after it reaches its destination. Made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), DuraNet® is strong and durable and will hold up well to everyday use and needed washings. DuraNet®'s malaria control capabilities are increased by incorporating a safe and effective insecticide called alphacypermethrin.

Through Bestnet, DuraNet® will be available in the largest variety of colors, shapes and sizes of any World Health Organization (WHOPES) recommended LLIN available on the market. DuraNet® is also available with Customized Logos. Making Bestnet able to offer NGO's, Public Private Partnerships and donor recipients the ability to print a logo or message directly on an LLIN at an affordable price.
