He continued to share the importance of this strategic asset acquisition to the county by stating, "our goal is to work hand-in-hand with Emilia to bring those jobs back to DeKalb and we are pleased to note that initial on-boarding of new Emilia Resources' employees began on April 21st, 2014. We are confident that we can work with Emilia to bring the jobs back and they will become an important part of rebuilding an essential source of income for the people of Kemper County."
This is an exciting time for the Emilia Group, the people of Kemper County and the Consumer Goods Industry. Commenting on the close, Alon Tavor, CEO of Emilia Cosmetics, the parent company of Emilia Resources and Emilia Personal Care: "Like all ventures in life, it takes a team of people to make success happen. Without mentioning names of these very special people, we would be remiss if we did not recognize the select customers that listened to our mission and believed in us by committing to work with us to get the plant back into the vibrant business it once was under our new management. This commitment for keeping business with Emilia Resources was critical for this investment to work and thus, many people's lives have been touched and we all thank those retail partners for the opportunity to work together to make a difference."
