Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) announced today that its wholly-owned Missouri subsidiary, Home State Health, has earned Medicaid and Marketplace HMO accreditation by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).
NCQA is a private, not-for-profit organization with a strong record of over 20 years as a leading accreditor of health plans. NCQA Accreditation is a nationally recognized evaluation that regulators and consumers use to assess managed care plans. To receive the seal of approval, the health plan is measured on over 60 standards in 40 different areas. For consumers and employers, the seal is a reliable indicator that an organization is well-managed and delivers high quality of care and service (ncqa.org).
