Dermatology expert to deliver presentation at 2015 ODAC

A leader in the specialty of cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Leslie Baumann of Miami, Florida will be a featured speaker at the Orlando Dermatology Aesthetic & Clinical Conference (ODAC) in Orlando January 16-19, 2015. Her two-part presentation, "Fundamentals of Cosmeceuticals," will be divided into a General Session lecture and a Workshop that are expected to be among the most-attended events of the conference. Dr. Baumann's presentation will include a closer look at the following variables, which all play a role in the effect that cosmeceuticals have on the skin:

  • Ingredient science
  • Formulation
  • Manufacturing and packaging
  • Ingredient interactions
  • Importance of identifying a patient's skin type
  • Tailoring skincare regimens to particular skin types

Dr. Baumann's latest business venture, The Skin Type Solutions Franchise System (stsfranchise.com), will be exhibiting at Booth 304 at this year's ODAC. The booth will feature a "live" store to offer dermatologists a hands-on introduction to the franchise concept, which offers a turnkey solution for in-office skincare retail.
