Paragon Bioservices receives CMO Leadership Awards for 2015

Paragon Bioservices, Inc., a leader in the manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals, has announced today that it has received the CMO Leadership Awards for 2015. Paragon is a leading contract manufacturing organization (CRO-CMO) whose customer base includes global pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies, NGOs and government agencies—including the Department of Defense, the National Cancer Institute and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Marco A. Chacon, the CEO of Paragon Bioservices, says that—while he is very proud of this award—the credit goes to all of Paragon's hard working scientists, managers and employees. According to Chacon, "We are honored to win as a CMO of choice in the 'big pharma' category and we believe that this award reflects our relentless focus on delivering value to our customers every day."

"As outsourcing becomes a more common practice in pharmaceutical drug development, we hold these awards to assist drug development companies with forming valuable industry partnerships that will deliver life-saving products to patients in a more efficient and timely manner," says Ed Miseta, Executive Director, Life Science Leader Magazine. "This year's winners represent the CMOs that pharmaceutical executives have voted the most reputable and capable partners to handle the challenges of safe and timely drug development. All CMOs were rated on the five categories that sponsors deemed to be the most important to them: reliability, productivity, innovation, quality and regulatory."

According to Miseta, "The annual surveys and industry research for this award are managed by Nice Insight, the market research division of That's Nice LLC. This year over 2,300 pharmaceutical professionals participated in the survey."
