2015 NBA All-Star helps Unilever Canada launch Dry Spray Antiperspirant technology

Today, at a special event, 2015 NBA All-Star Kyle Lowry helped Unilever Canada launch its new Dry Spray Antiperspirant technology, the company's most significant innovation in the category in almost 20 years.

Dry Spray Antiperspirant is a revolutionary formulation that goes on instantly dry for a cleaner feel, leaving no visible residue. Unilever has launched Dry Spray Antiperspirant in more than 37 countries in various brands, making it the number one selling antiperspirant product globally.

"As most Canadians have seen, Lowry is a leader in his game, demonstrating superior performance. Like Lowry, Unilever strives to offer premium personal care products by being invested in leading innovative research," says Jessica Grigoriou, Marketing Director, Unilever Canada. "Antiperspirant is an important product used daily, and with new Dry Spray Antiperspirants, Canadians will have a dry, clean application experience that is unlike anything else on the market."

The launch event helped kick-off a strategic partnership between Unilever Canada's men's personal care brands and the Toronto Raptors. In 2015, Lowry will act as the brand spokesperson supporting various programs for Degree®, AXE®, Vaseline Men® and Dove Men+Care.

"I'm always looking for new ways to advance my game and it's great to work with a partner that does the same with its products," says Lowry. "New Dry Spray Antiperspirant is a product that really shows off just how much Unilever is committed to this level of improvement."

Dry Sprays antiperspirants are now available across Unilever's five marquee brands - Degree®, Degree Women®, Dove, Dove Men+Care and AXE. Each brand offers its individual and unique benefits.

Beginning mid-February, fans nationwide will have a chance to win the ultimate 48-hour experience to live like Lowry in Toronto.
