Amway named Company of the Year by IFANCA for halal-certified Nutrilite products

The Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA®) named Amway as Company of the Year during the 2015 International Halal Food Conference for excellence in compliance and execution of halal-certified Nutrilite™ products in markets around the world.

Halal is the dietary standard of Muslims, and is an Arabic word meaning "lawful" or "permitted." Halal Certification is required to produce acceptable food and consumable products for halal consumers. According to IFANCA, the growing global market for halal-certified products is estimated at 1.6 billion Muslims as well as others who choose to eat halal products.

Amway Business Owners sell Nutrilite™ vitamin, mineral and plant-based dietary supplement products that are halal-certified in 11 markets: Australia, Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey and U.S.
