The Riverview Medical Center Foundation Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the Third Annual Family Fireworks on the Navesink to support Riverview Medical Center Foundation.
This year, Riverview Medical Center is embarking on a historic building project, renovating and expanding the Booker Cancer Center, leveraging the strength of the medical center's impressive cancer care program to further bolster the services available in our local community. "As the premier fundraising event for Riverview Medical Center, the funds raised at the Family Fireworks on the Navesink will support this mission and further strengthen our community's well-being," shares Timothy J. Hogan, regional hospital president for Monmouth County. "The events committee has put in a tremendous amount of work planning this extraordinary event and we feel extremely lucky to partner with such driven members of the community."
This fun-filled family event will be held at the DiPiero Family home, on the picturesque Navesink River, on Saturday, June 27, 2015. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. the evening will include a BBQ buffet, a variety of food trucks, inflatable rides, games, and a breathtaking view of the fireworks show at 9:15 p.m. This is a family-friendly event where all parents and grandparents are encouraged to bring their children and grandchildren.
"For years, many of us in the Red Bank community enjoyed the town's fireworks on the Navesink," shares Nancy Mulheren, chair of the Riverview Medical Center Foundation Board of Trustees. "This exceptional event hosted at the beautiful DiPiero Family home brings back that cherished tradition while we proudly support the extraordinary care provided at our local hospital. It's a special evening and fun for all ages."
Last year's event hosted a sold out crowd of more than 250 attendees, raising more than $80,000 in support of Riverview Medical Center. "This event continues to grow and proves to be an outstanding display of generosity in our area," explains event chair and foundation trustee, Hilary DiPiero. "On behalf of the event committee, we're honored be a part of such a worthy cause that helps deliver great health care, close to home."
