Teleradiology Specialists reports record growth in January

Teleradiology Specialists is positioned for explosive volume and market share growth in 2016 after completing a record number of reads in January.

Radiologists with Teleradiology Specialists completed 40 percent more reads last month, as compared to figures from January 2015. The company provides over-reads, PACS technology, and consulting services for urgent care, imaging centers, mobile medical, and private physician practices.

Teleradiology Specialists has scaled its operating model to assure industry-leading turn-around times: an average of 14 minutes for standard non-urgent studies and 8 minutes for STAT studies, according to analysis of the January readings, with fees that are highly competitive. The company is able to serve clients in all 50 states.

"Customers are coming to Teleradiology Specialists for quality assurance, potential cost savings and quicker turnaround," said David Cohen, MD, founder and President of Teleradiology Specialists. "Our board-certified radiologists offer top-quality readings and rapid report turnaround. Our reports are accessible from any location on a portable electronic device and easily shared with referring physicians."

The radiology-reading company added 52 new health care delivery locations last month. Much of this growth is coming from the company's pointed service offerings focusing on the needs of urgent care centers. Client retention is driven by on-demand client support, high levels of provider communication, customized reporting, and a thorough quality assurance program. Teleradiology Specialists has added additional radiologists to its schedule in preparation for continued expansion in 2016.
