Lisinopril oral solution approved for treatment of hypertension in children and adults

Silvergate Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (www.silvergatepharma.com), leader in the development and commercialization of innovative and safe medicines for children, today announced that the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Qbrelis™ (Lisinopril) Oral Solution, the first and only FDA-approved Lisinopril oral solution. Qbrelis™ is indicated for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) in adult patients and pediatric patients 6 years of age and older, adjunct therapy for heart failure, and treatment of acute myocardial infarction in adults.
