Pittcon is pleased to once again co-program at JASIS, one of the largest Asian exhibitions for analytical and scientific instruments. This year’s symposium, organized by Dr. Fu-Tyan Lin, the Pittcon 2017 program chairman, will be “New Approaches in Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy for Biomolecular Applications.” The presentation will be on Wednesday, September 7, and will begin with opening remarks from the 2018 Pittcon President-Elect Dr. Adrian Michael (University of Pittsburgh).
Dr. Lin will continue with an introduction to the symposium followed by Dr. Adriaan Bax (US NIH), with his topic, “Study of Amyloidogenic Proteins by Solution NMR Spectroscopy.”
After a short break, Dr. Rafael P. Bruschweiler, (Ohio State University), will deliver “New Methods and Applications for NMR-based, Hybrid NMR/MS and Nanoparticle-assisted Metabolomics.” Dr. Rieko Ishima, from the University of Pittsburgh, will finish the discussion with “NMR at High-Magnetic Field Strength and Its Application with Different Methodologies.”
Closing Remarks by Dr. Fu-mei Lin, the Pittcon 2017 registration chairman will conclude this dynamic symposium.
When asked to comment on this session, Dr. Lin said:
We have been co-programming with JASIS for several years and are honored at the invitation to present at this premiere conference. We strongly believe that this partnership promotes the exchange of international collaboration and research.
