This vitamin is important for healthy bones, immunity and other bodily processes. In children inadequacy of this vitamin in diet may lead to bone damage, rickets, repeated infections and heart disease in later life.

Advaxis' ADXS11-001 Phase 1 study for cervix cancer failures: 13.3% of treated patients alive at over 3 years

Ongoing follow up of the surviving patients from the phase I study of ADXS11-001 for the treatment of cervix cancer failures conducted by Advaxis, Inc.,, the live, attenuated Listeria monocytogenes (Listeria) immunotherapy company, has shown that two of fifteen treated patients or 13.3% are still alive 1,248 and 1,128 days after receiving their initial dose.

Any patient with a breast lesion classified as a radial scar classified at percutaneous biopsy should undergo a surgical excision to rule out an underlying malignancy, according to a study published in the April issue of the American Journal of Roentgenology (www.ajronline.org).

Today, Congress ignored the explicit wishes of the American people by voting to establish taxpayer-funded abortion. This reversal of long-standing federal policy will not stand. Swine flu risk to pregnant women uncovered in landmark study

A study to be published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) today has found 11 percent of pregnant women admitted to intensive care units (ICU) with 2009 A/H1N1 (swine flu) died, with 12 percent of babies born to them dying from complications. None of the mothers had been immunised against seasonal flu.
