ICON, CMFT collaborate to develop translational medicine facilities on the MRI campus

ICON plc, a global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, today announced details of its new translational medicine unit in Manchester, UK. Positive results from NanoBio's recombinant H5N1 flu antigen-nanoemulsion vaccine combination study

NanoBio Corporation today announced positive results from studies in mice in which immune responses were evaluated following administration of 5µg doses of recombinant H5N1 pandemic flu antigen combined with the company’s novel nanoemulsion vaccine. These studies are unique because the adjuvant was administered for the first time by subcutaneous (SC) and intramuscular (IM) injections.

DermaGen AB - part of the Karolinska Development dermatology and wound healing company "Pergamum" - announced that Dermagen AB has received promising results from a clinical Phase I/IIa study. DermaGen AB is developing a novel antimicrobial peptide (AMP) treatment for atopic dermatitis. Atopic dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease where dry skin and the skin's weakened barrier function make patients susceptible to colonization by microorganisms, a triggering or exacerbating factor of the disease.
