Librax AG version launched by Oceanside Pharmaceuticals

Oceanside Pharmaceuticals, part of Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, today announced that it has now launched chlordiazepoxide hydrochloride and clidinium bromide, an authorized generic (AG) version of Librax®. Oceanside has received its first orders and expects to be a significant player in the Librax® generic market.

Bacteria help in preventing inflammation after skin injury

Research at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine now shows that the normal bacteria living on the skin surface trigger a pathway that prevents excessive inflammation after injury.

U.S. Patent Office approves multiple patent claims from Helix BioMedix

Helix BioMedix, Inc. (OTCBB: HXBM), a developer of bioactive peptides, today announced the United States Patent and Trademark Office has allowed multiple claims in one of the company’s recent patent applications. Ambrisentan improves health and exercise capacity of PAH patients, find researchers

In one of the few studies of the long-term effects of medication in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) disease, a team of researchers found the health and exercise capacity of PAH patients improved after two years of treatment with ambrisentan, according to a study published in the current edition of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
