Study shows Kinerase cream aids skin appearance

Valeant Pharmaceuticals announced that it has introduced Kinerase(R) Intensive Eye Cream, based on the successful formula of its Kinerase facial lotion and cream.

The new eye cream contains a 25 percent higher concentration of Kinetin, the natural substance in Kinerase products that helps the skin retain moisture and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Kinerase Intensive Eye Cream is gentle and non-irritating, made specifically for use around the sensitive eye area. This product is the first of many strategic line extensions Valeant will be incorporating into its product portfolio in the coming year, including a Kinerase with sun protection, cleanser and Vitamin C product.

The Kinerase product line, including the lotion, cream and intensive eye cream contain Kinetin, a natural agent that allows the skin to retain more moisture, making the skin feel firmer and healthier, improving the skin's overall appearance. In a 24-week study of the Kinerase cream, 90 percent of participants reported an improvement in the texture of their skin and 87 percent reported an overall improvement in the appearance of their skin. The eye cream is distributed primarily through dermatologists and plastic surgeons nationwide and is also available behind the counter at select pharmacies.
