MAC Cosmetics on Wednesday will launch an advertising campaign in support of its Viva Glam lipstick and lip gloss line, which aims to raise money for the MAC AIDS Fund, USA Today reports.
The campaign for the Viva Glam VI products will feature singer Deborah Harry, rapper Eve, dancer Dita von Teese and singer Lisa Marie Presley.
Viva Glam products to date have raised $70 million for the MAC AIDS Fund (Freydkin, USA Today, 9/6).
The fund supports groups worldwide that provide direct care for HIV/AIDS patients and groups aimed at prevention (Kaiser Daily HIV/AIDS Report, 2/20/04).
The four celebrities are "outstanding ambassadors for raising awareness for the cause," John Demsey, chair of the MAC AIDS Fund and group president of Estee Lauder Cosmetics, said.
Viva Glam VI lipsticks and lip gloss will cost $14 each (USA Today, 9/6).
