DTC Perspectives Inc., the leading training, publishing, and analytics company for direct-to-consumer marketing, is proud to announce its second annual class of inductees into the DTC Hall of Fame. This year's inductees are: Herb Ehrenthal, Group Vice President of Global Advertising and Marketing for Schering-Plough; Paula R. Garrett, Senior Director of Consumer Marketing at Eli Lilly USA, LLC; Joe Hoholick, Executive Director Marketing, Amgen; Lucy Rose, President, Lucy Rose and Associates, LLC and formerly director of DDMAC division of FDA.
This year's inductees join the inaugural 2008 DTC Hall of Fame class which included Jim Davidson, Matt Giegerich, Ed Slaughter, and Len Tacconi.
The 2009 DTC Hall of Fame induction ceremonies will be held in conjunction with the 2009 DTC Fall Conference: "Reform & Refocus," scheduled for Oct. 14 - 15, 2009, at the Westminster Hotel in Livingston, N.J. The DTC Hall of Fame induction ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 14.
The DTC Hall of Fame is designed to honor individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary achievement in the advancement of direct-to-consumer marketing. The DTC Hall of Fame inductees are elected by the DTC Perspectives' Advisory Board, a select group of industry experts who serve as council to review the qualifications and achievements of the nominees.
"DTC marketing has been practiced successfully for more than a decade and over this time it has grown significantly to become a very important component of the pharmaceutical industry's success," Bob Ehrlich, chairman and chief executive of DTC Perspectives, said. "It is important to recognize those individuals who have shaped DTC advertising and significantly contributed to the communication of important healthcare information directly to patients. We are pleased to induct Herb Ehrenthal, Paula Garrett, Joe Hoholick, and Lucy Rose into this years class of the DTC Hall of Fame."
