Nexus, a leading provider of advanced technology and network integration, announced the launch of a focused Healthcare Practice. Healthcare is one of the fastest growing industries today and currently generates a large percentage of Nexus' revenue.
Nexus has been working with large Healthcare clients for several years. This experience, along with the development of an industry specific practice, will allow Nexus the opportunity to go after this vertical market with greater purpose and focus.

Nexus will have focused Account Managers, Healthcare Transformation Specialists, and Engineering resources geared towards the Healthcare Practice.
Nexus will improve the patient care experience and workforce efficiencies through the use of new Nexus Healthcare offers including Core Foundation Services, Distance Care Services, Point of Care Workflow Management Services, and Patient Hospitality Services. These offers are supported by Cisco Unified Communications, TelePresence, WebEx, Digital Media Systems, Medical Grade Network Infrastructure, Mobility, Security, and Data Center technology.
Nexus will also leverage its partnership with EXTENSION to provide additional solution offers in the Healthcare space.
The new Nexus Healthcare Practice will be led by Donn Wurts, Nexus Healthcare Managing Principal. Mr. Wurts has a successful history of delivering large-scale transformational systems. He has significant experience in the Healthcare industry, including working at Kaiser Permanente, State Healthcare Services, Cisco Life Connections, and Swagelok. Mr. Wurts has participated in executive advisory councils with Citrix Systems, Fujitsu Healthcare, Intel Healthcare Mobility, Dell Healthcare, HP, Microsoft, and is an active member of HIMSS.
