Wake Pharma to present clinical evidence in the treatment of wounds using Wound-Be-Gone at SAWC

Wake Pharma US announced today that clinical evidence in the treatment of wounds using Wound-Be-Gone® will be presented at the fall Society for Advance Wound Care Conference. The SAWC is being held in Washington, DC from September 16-18, 2009. The clinical evidence and data will be presented through posters on display during the meeting.

Maggie Jankowski, COO of Wake Pharma US, Inc., commented: "Since the launch of Wound-Be-Gone® in June 2008, we have accumulated clinical experience from all types of wounds. Our product is very unique; and the only over-the-counter product available to treat chronic wounds. We have a lot of patients where the expensive treatments like Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, V.A.C. Therapy, and even skin grafts have failed. Our product Wound-Be-Gone®, has the ability to assist in rapid patient healing with minimal product cost." Jankowski was even kind enough share a letter that they received from one of the recent patients:

"I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to use the product, 'Wound-Be-Gone.' This product did for me in two (2) days what other methods took (3) three months, without any discomfort. When I saw my wounds un-bandaged in one (1) week, it brought tears to my eyes. I am a 50-year-old female with diabetes, who has lost my right leg (amputated), a little over 18 months ago. I really think with this product, I would still have my leg today. A very special 'thank you' for this wonderful gift of a brighter future!"
