Navicure, a leading Internet-based medical claims clearinghouse for physician practices, today announced the addition of two Minnesota-based organizations to its client roster. Heartland Orthopedic Specialists and Fond du Lac Human Services both selected Navicure’s award-winning account receivables management solutions to improve claims management and increase profitability.
Navicure’s Web-based account receivables management solutions automate receivables processes, including patient eligibility verification; primary and secondary claims reimbursement; rejected and denied claims management; electronic remittance posting; claims and remittance reporting and analysis; and patient statement processing. Through the use of these solutions, practices can improve their operating margins and enhance cash flow.
The company continues to enhance its service offerings as national and state regulations develop. One of the newest enhancements has been the addition of electronic claims processing for workers compensation, which evolved partly out of Minnesota mandates that require all claims to be submitted electronically. Through a partnership with P2P Stone River, an organization that has been exclusively focused on the workers' compensation electronic environment, Navicure clients in Minnesota are able to connect electronically to numerous worker’s compensation payors.
“In addition to its superior customer service, we selected Navicure because of its workers comp electronic claims processing solution which will enable us to meet state mandates,” said Missy Baas, patient account specialist for Heartland Orthopedic Specialists. “We are confident that incorporating their technology into our billing workflow will help streamline claims processing and improve our bottom line.”
“Our previous claims submission process had limited reporting and edit capabilities, which led to claims errors and insurance rejections,” said Amy Welsand, billing/accounts receivable manager for Fond du Lac Human Services. “We feel Navicure’s advanced editing and reporting functionality will enable us to correct errors before submission, significantly decreasing the number of rejected claims.”
“Adding two forward-thinking organizations to our client list is exciting, especially in a market like Minnesota where we continue to expand our client base,” said Jim Denny, founder, president and CEO of Navicure. “We are certain that these organizations will see improved operating margins and increased profitability.”
