AMHN, Inc., (OTCBB:AMHN), parent company of America’s Minority Health Network, Inc., announced today that Saddle Ranch Productions, Inc. ("Saddle Ranch Productions") completed new healthcare video segments to be immediately aired on its network. These segments address 35 different topics from "Alzheimer's Disease" to "Stroke" and focus on healthcare diversity in the underserved African-American population.
Saddle Ranch Productions' President, Kim Sarubbi, stated, "Based on our experience producing healthcare segments for other broadband delivered digital video networks in doctor's offices, we were charged with the responsibility of producing these educational segments at a time when the issue is uppermost in America's collective mind. While the politicians debate the issue, AMHN is doing something about it and we are proud to have been selected as the production resource."
Using hardware and software systems integrated by Seatac Digital Resources, Inc. ("Seatac Digital Resources"), America's Minority Health Network, Inc. was able to instantly broadcast the programming to its 100 subscribing medical practices serving minority populations via individually dedicated IP addresses. This technology will allow the network to grow to over 1,000 locations during 2010.
Bob Cambridge, President of AMHN, stated, "This perfect storm of technology, national awareness of the issue, and joint functionality provided by Saddle Ranch Productions and Seatac Digital Resources have allowed us to kick off the largest assault on healthcare diversity to date. We believe that our healthcare education is an important first step in promoting awareness of critical health issues to the previously underserved minority marketplace. Feedback from our subscribing physicians confirms the continuing and vital role that we play in this healthcare concern."
