Sonomax Hearing Healthcare Inc. (SHH:TSX Venture) attains the Phase IV milestone and is only one milestone away from successfully completing the development of its off-the-shelf, self-fitting custom earpieces.
"This is a very significant milestone, the fabrication of a suite of highly complex molds now validates the achievability of our concepts and drawings," said Nick Laperle, Sonomax's President & CEO.
"In the highly sophisticated world of injection molding, concepts are one aspect, and product that actually work in the real world are quite another."
Sonomax is the world's sole developer and manufacturer of the revolutionary earpiece technology and hardware superceding the capabilities of all earpieces and associated technology.
"This validation provides the company with a quantum leap forward in scalability and much higher acceptance levels enabling Sonomax's technology to be easily adapted to any and all in-ear technologies," attested Laperle.
By far the greatest example of Sonomax's technology is the application of the product to military forces (www.newswire.ca/en/releases/archive/November2009/05/c6073.html) that depend on extremely critical and accurate communications in theatre for situational awareness and defensive tactics. Otherwise the high impact noise and confusion not only leads to irreparable hearing loss but can also lead to a fatal breakdown in communications.
The company is close to finalizing its licensing model and is preparing for its roll-out with the final milestone, Phase V, scheduled for December 22, 2009.
Upon completing Phase IV, Sonomax has confirmed a number of meetings with global electronics manufacturing companies at the upcoming Consumer Electronic Show (CES), in Las Vegas, January 6 - 10, 2010.
"These are very critical meetings and our objective is to secure license agreements for Sonomax's technologies to become an international standard component in a broad range of high technology in-ear products now dominating the global retail marketplace," stated Mr. Laperle.
The company will release details of its licensing progress when agreed upon by prospective licensees and/or when required to do so by regulation.
