Orthopaedic Center of the Rockies updates its name to Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies

The Orthopaedic Center of the Rockies (Fort Collins and Loveland, CO) has updated its name to Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies. The name change highlights the 40-year-old medical practice's services for patients with disorders or injuries to their back or neck.

"Including spine in our name communicates more completely the range of services that we offer to the community and patients," said Dr. Michael Houghton, president of the board of directors of the Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies (OCR).

"We have offered a comprehensive range of services and surgeries for many years for people who have spine problems or pain," said Dr. Robert Benz, a spine surgeon with the group.

"We see this as an opportunity to emphasize the complete program we have established for taking care of people with neck and back problems," said Dr. William Biggs, who is also a spine surgeon with the practice.

OCR offers the latest minimally invasive surgeries, as well as an array of non-surgical options to care for people who have back/neck problems, including neck and low-back disc herniations (bulging disc), stenosis (narrowing), scoliosis (spine curvature), along with many other spinal problems.
