The Breema Center today announced that it will host a Breema Intensive on February 6-14, 2010. The Intensive program is designed to help new students get familiar with Breema and to help advanced students deepen their practice of Breema and its Principles. The program will be held at the Breema Center in Oakland, California. Participants can choose from a 2-day, 3-day or 6-day series of classes. All who attend this Winter Intensive will have the chance to benefit from the Breema Center's 2010 campaign for "A Year of Harmonious Living."
"At the Breema Center, we are dedicating 2010 to helping people live a more balanced and harmonious life," said Jon Schreiber, Director of The Breema Center. "Our Winter Intensive program is the perfect opportunity to kick off the new year with an in-depth exploration of Breema and the Nine Principles of Harmony. Learn Breema bodywork and Self-Breema exercises to help increase flexibility and reduce stress, and discover how the Principles can promote harmony and self-understanding throughout the year."
There are no pre-requisites for attending a Breema Intensive. The Intensive week will begin with classes suitable for beginners but open to all students, and end with Advanced Breema and Self-Understanding classes for experienced students. Bodyworkers and California nurses can earn CE credits. During the October 2009 Intensive, students from around the world attended, ranging in age from 18-72.
Students participating in Intensives report that they enjoy the accepting atmosphere, and as they apply the Principles they relate to life in a more harmonious and simple way, and experience greater connection to other people. They find they easily learn the natural Breema movements and gain sufficient expertise and confidence to be able to practice what they've learned with friends and family.
