NXT Nutritionals Holdings provides 2010 outlook for investors

NXT Nutritionals Holdings, Inc. (“NXT Nutritionals”) (OTCBB: NXTH) developer and marketer of SUSTA™ Natural Sweetener, the great tasting, all-natural, healthier sweetener, today released a Letter to Shareholders from Michael McCarthy, president and Chief Executive Officer, providing investors and the investment community with its outlook for 2010.

Dear Shareholders:

It is my pleasure to speak with you today and to discuss the various corporate developments to date as well as share our plans for the year ahead. As Chief Executive Officer of NXT Nutritionals, it is my intent to regularly inform our shareholders and the investment community of our progress, as we become uniquely positioned to capture a significant share of the alternative sweetener market with our great tasting and healthier sweetener, SUSTA™ Natural Sweetener.

As you already know, SUSTA is a cutting-edge, natural sweetening system that is poised to revolutionize the alternative sweetener marketplace. It has minimal calories, no lingering aftertaste and is all-natural. Not only does SUSTA sweeten the taste of food without all of the side effects of sugars or chemicals, it also contains healthy probiotics; vital dietary fiber; antioxidants and key cellular nutrients – leading to an increased metabolism. SUSTA simultaneously supports the health of your bones, heart, and immune system. This is in contrast to many of the other leading sweeteners in the marketplace, which either use chemicals to achieve their sweetening effects or are natural sweeteners with no added health benefits.

SUSTA is currently being sold as a stand-alone sweetener in a 50-packet box and is in our Healthy Dairy® Yogurt Smoothies. In addition, we recently announced the launch of our baking version of the sweetener, which is currently available for pre-order on our e-commerce site, www.sustastore.com.

The 50-packet boxes of SUSTA are now available in approximately 1,200 supermarkets in the Northeast region including, ShopRite, Shaw’s Supermarkets, Pathmark, A&P Fresh, Super Fresh, Waldbaum’s, Food Emporium, Associated Supermarkets, Foodtown, Kings Super Markets, Pioneer Supermarkets, Met Foodmarkets and Key Food.

We have also announced that the product has been authorized in The Kroger Co., one of the nation's largest grocery retailers with 2008 sales of $76.0 billion. This establishes a footprint into the Midwestern region.

We are privileged to have two great role-models and advocates for healthy living, actor Blair Underwood and National Basketball Association star Shaquille O'Neal, as spokespersons for our product. Brand awareness of SUSTA is a crucial component to better promoting all of our products. With the added health benefits of SUSTA, especially for diabetics and people with weight management issues, we intend to partner with a number of health organizations to endorse SUSTA.

We believe that 2010 will be an extremely exciting year for us. We have already seen a great response to our SUSTA™ Natural Sweetener, and we expect to see continued brand recognition by consumers, retailers, the health community and the medical community. SUSTA’s potential increase in popularity will be driven by the simple fact that consumers are looking to reduce the amount of sugar they use and are looking to eliminate artificial products from their diet. We believe that SUSTA is the healthiest alternative to sugar currently available.

I expect the Company to achieve several milestones this year as we move into a growth phase.

We will continue to add retail distribution for our product so that we may have a national presence in grocery chains across the country. Our goal is to be in over 5,000 locations this year and to expand the SUSTA product line by adding additional "SKUs".

The Company will continue to expand both the SUSTA and Healthy Dairy product lines in additional distribution channels other than grocery chains that will include contract feeders, big box stores, drug stores, health and nutrition stores and fast food restaurants. As we continue to build brand and product awareness, SUSTA can easily be incorporated into the table top sweetener caddies in restaurants.

As more and more food and drink products are being produced to meet the demand of the more health-conscious consumers, we will be looking to partner with other food companies to have SUSTA™ Natural Sweetener as the sweetener of choice in their products. These companies will be able to offer their consumers a product with a much healthier sweetener than is currently being used.

In addition, we will look to expand upon our Medical Advisory Board to help the Company address the health problems surrounding obesity, poor nutrition and diabetes. I intend to capitalize on the Board's expertise and guidance in addressing these growing issues as we look to provide the consumer with scientific insight, health and wellness information on the benefits of using SUSTA.

In conclusion, over the last several years, we were in the developmental stage, planning and preparing to launch our products. Today, we have built the infrastructure and positioned a great team of experts to take us to the next level. I believe this year is "our year" and that we will become a recognized force in the industry.
