NCD to release report on housing programs and policies for people with disabilities

The National Council on Disability (NCD) will release a report on housing programs and policies for people with disabilities at the JW Marriott Houston, 5150 Westheimer, Houston, TX, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2010. This meeting is open to the public.

The report titled The State of Housing in America in the 21st Century: A Disability Perspective provides recommendations intended to improve housing opportunities for people with disabilities.

Presenters include:

Janet Smith, Co-Director, Nathalie P. Voorhees Center and Associate Professor, Urban Planning and Policy, University of Illinois at Chicago, Chicago, IL
