Vangard Voice Systems, Inc. (Vangard), the innovative provider of the AccuSpeech® Mobile Voice Platform (MVP) which adds high productivity voice-direct capabilities to existing mobile applications, announced a partnership with Vista LifeSciences to voice-enable Vista LifeSciences' medical assessment and clinical encounter/medical record products. The Vangard/Vista LifeSciences partnership will initially focus on adding voice-directed data collection and application commands to Vista LifeSciences' STAT*Triage™ a robust mobile medical patient encounter tool that includes disease-specific applications, public health surveillance capabilities, and population-specific management applications (student health, home healthcare, etc.). By adding hands-free, eyes-free voice-directed commands to STAT*Triage, and other Vista LifeSciences solutions, mobile healthcare professionals will be are able to collect accurate electronic patient data at the 'point of patient care' on their mobile devices.
Vista LifeSciences' products are actively used by the United States Department of Defense and in clinical care in more than 50 hospitals, clinics and research organizations in North America. Vista LifeSciences' neuropsychological assessment technology has been used to collect more than 400,000 neuropsychological assessments by the U.S. Department of Defense.
Utilizing Vangard’s AccuSpeech Mobile Voice Platform to record patient information greatly improves clinical care, decreases medical errors, and leads to faster, more accurate assessments and data collection. The partnership with Vangard Voice Systems will deliver highly productive and accurate voice capabilities to current and future mobile healthcare professionals working for Vista LifeSciences' public and private sector clients in clinical and triage medical settings. Using Vangard's AccuSpeech Mobile Voice Platform, medical and emergency management professionals will have "hands free" options, allowing them to greatly increase the quality of care as they assess an emergency management or triage scene and prepare initial evaluation and data collection.
Vangard's AccuSpeech Mobile Voice Platform will also be used to supplement Vista LifeSciences' neuropsychological assessment product suite by offering a voice enabled interface to collect data from patients and care providers. Vista LifeSciences currently provides clinical systems in the United States and Africa, and provides the Department of Defense with technology for neuropsychological assessment
