Promius Pharma recognized with 2010 Gold Triangle Award for developing new site on dermatology

The American Academy of Dermatology (Academy) will present the 2010 Gold Triangle Awards during its 68th Annual Meeting in Miami Beach in early March 2010. Promius Pharma, LLC is one of 49 winners being recognized for excellence in furthering public understanding of dermatologic issues and encouraging healthy behavior in the care of skin, hair and nails.

“These programs and initiatives have the potential to improve the quality of life for numerous individuals affected by dermatologic conditions.”

“The Academy commends each of our Gold Triangle Award winners for their efforts to increase public awareness of dermatology, encourage healthy behaviors in the care of their skin, hair and nails, and educate the public about the expert care of a dermatologist,” said dermatologist David M. Pariser, MD, FAAD, president of the American Academy of Dermatology. “These programs and initiatives have the potential to improve the quality of life for numerous individuals affected by dermatologic conditions.”

Promius Pharma was recognized for the development of a Web site called “Explore Your Skin,” (www.exploreyourskin.com). This unique site opens up a three dimensional, virtual compendium to answer many questions a patient may have after a visit to their dermatologist. At www.exploreyourskin.com a quick click takes a visitor through an interactive experience to gain valuable information about their skin, their diagnosed clinical condition, cosmetic treatment options and basic skin care.
