Zumba Fitness, LLC, a United States-based company providing Latin-inspired dance fitness products and services (such as Zumba® classes, DVDs, music, and Zumbawear™), announces its appearance at France’s largest fitness trade show, Salon Mondial du Fitness in Paris, March 12-14.
“Europeans have welcomed us with open arms and we are looking forward to meeting the key players and establishing long-lasting relationships with our friends in France.”
According to Zumba Fitness International Coordinator Natalie Aghion, all the instructor trainings in Paris over the past 6 months have sold out and demand for classes in France is extremely high , “We never expected such wild success in France,” said Aghion. “But Zumba is a program that crosses cultural boundaries, and at the end of the day everyone likes a party.”
To teach a Zumba Fitness class at any facility, potential instructors must participate in an instructor training workshop where they will learn key educational elements required to teach a class.
“We are excited about building our Zumba community in Europe and there is no better place to start than Salon Mondial, the leading fitness trade show in France,” said Petra Robinson, Zumba’s senior vice president of fitness industry relations. “Europeans have welcomed us with open arms and we are looking forward to meeting the key players and establishing long-lasting relationships with our friends in France.”
In recent years, the Zumba® program has become nothing short of a revolution, spreading like wildfire around the globe, and positioning itself as the single most influential movement in the industry of fitness. As of January 2010, the Zumba® program is being taught at over 50,000 locations in 75 countries, and has changed the lives of Zumba® Fanatics worldwide with an astonishing six million regular class participants taking Zumba classes every week.
