Delegates will gather to review progress in key areas of post-genomic research in biology and medicine and to chart future developments, including the Human Microbiome Project and the resequencing of matched tumour and normal genomes from specific types of cancers.
At the conference, internationally renowned researchers will deliver cutting edge presentations and present their latest findings. Speakers include:
- Elaine Mardis, Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis
- Steven Salzberg, University of Maryland

- Rob Knight, University of Colorado
The event is taking place between 11-13 October 2009 in Boston, Massachusetts.
