The multi-platinum album selling and Grammy nominated music artists, Jonas Brothers, joined more than 200 guests at the home of Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman on Sunday, May 16 during the annual "Rock For Diabetes" event, to help raise funds for the Center for Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. Performing a special live show for attendees, the event raised more than $250,000 for the Center.
“It was thrilling to see the smiles on the children's faces as the Jonas Brothers sang and when Nick talked about his own diabetes”
"It was thrilling to see the smiles on the children's faces as the Jonas Brothers sang and when Nick talked about his own diabetes," says Francine Kaufman, MD, of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. "Nick's willingness to be so public has made people around the world feel differently about diabetes."
"We're excited to be back here at the home of Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman this year," says Nick Jonas. "Speaking as a person who lives day to day with diabetes, anything we can do to help raise money and awareness to fight this condition, is truly important to us."
