Publix Super Markets to introduce flu immunization program

Publix Super Markets Inc. will launch its flu immunization program in stores this month.

“At Publix, our pharmacies are dedicated to building relationships with our customers and their families for total health and wellness all year long.”

Flu shots will be available in all 823 Publix Pharmacy locations. Flu shots are being provided by trained Publix Pharmacists and/or The Little Clinics.

"Flu clinics are an extension of the services our pharmacies provide to our customers as a convenient and affordable way to receive their vaccinations," said Maria Brous, Publix director of media and community relations. "At Publix, our pharmacies are dedicated to building relationships with our customers and their families for total health and wellness all year long."

Flu shots will be available for $25. Medicare Part B and many other insurance plans are accepted.
