ManagementPlus' EHR 5.0 software achieves CCHIT certification

On the heels of its pre-market and ePrescribing conditional CCHIT® certification, ManagementPlus' electronic health record software, ManagementPlus EHR 5.0, has now achieved full certification for its product, CCHIT Certified® 2011 Ambulatory EHR. ManagementPlus EHR 5.0 enables its healthcare and ophthalmology practice customers to manage their EHR with confidence and ease.

“We believe today's announcement reaffirms our commitment to technology, excellent customer care and the highest quality standards”

The CCHIT Certified® program is an independently developed certification that includes rigorous inspection of an EHR's integrated functionality, interoperability and security using criteria developed by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology's (CCHIT®) broadly representative, expert work groups.

"In addition to offering our customers the most proficient technology available, we are also committed to giving them full assurance and confidence that our software will be government certified and meet their complex needs," said Christine M. Archibald, ManagementPlus founder and CEO.

EHR and E-Prescribing are essential elements of the ManagementPlus software suite and integrate with all areas of practice management, including billing, scheduling, optical inventory and custom reporting. ManagementPlus 5.0 EHR creates efficiency by making the practice environment run seamlessly, and increases the profitability of more than 200 practices and more than 2,500 users who are standardized on ManagementPlus Practice Management and EHR solutions.

Offering customized training and implementation procedures, ManagementPlus 5.0 EHR stands out from its competition by providing customer support above industry standards with:

  • 97 percent live call ratio,
  • 98 percent first submission claim acceptance rate,
  • One to 25 tech support ratio.

"We believe today's announcement reaffirms our commitment to technology, excellent customer care and the highest quality standards," Archibald said. "By placing our customers' needs first and foremost, we are rising above our competition and we will continue to strive to exceed all expectations."
