Hale Dwoskin, author of The Sedona Method: Your Key to Lasting Happiness, Success, Peace and Emotional Well-being, has released a new video via the website http://www.lettinggo.tv and YouTube. This video, entitled "Highest and Best Good for the Planet," tackles the question of what if we simply stopped the fighting, both in everyday lives and in the all-too-often combative political atmosphere.
The video shows Dwoskin on a thought-journey as he challenges the public to imagine doing the "highest and best good" for everyone - an especially relevant idea during the time leading up to the midterm elections. Dwoskin, one of the 24 teachers featured in the movie "The Secret," asks that the everyday person, instead of arguing over the "correct" political agenda, be open to doing only what is best and good for the planet as a whole.
"Imagine," entreats Dwoskin, "what the world would be like ... if we all worked together to really brainstorm around what is for the highest and best good for everyone ... and imagine what politics would be like if everyone wasn't just fighting for their own good."
The video has viewers envision a world uncontrolled by fighting over conservative v. liberal, democrat v. republican, and instead guided by practices based on the concept of "Highest and Best Good for the Planet."
"What if instead of fighting for our particular point of view ... we all decided to allow ourselves to simply look to what would be the highest and best good?" asks Dwoskin.
Clocking in at 2:05, "Highest and Best Good for the Planet" already has garnered nearly 3,000 views. To join the discussion, or to find more information on The Sedona Method, please visit http://www.sedonamethodcommunity.com/highest-best-good/1188-what-your-everyone-s-highest-best-good.html
