fitlosophy, inc., the Orange County, California-based creators of fitbook, the award-winning line of 12-week fitness and nutrition journals, is pleased to support the American Heart Association for the second year by sponsoring a 5-week BLOG YOUR HEART OUT campaign. The campaign is designed to create awareness and to encourage people to use their networks to SPEAK UP and tell 5 people in their network about heart disease. This silent-killer is still the #1 cause of death among women (and men), killing 1 in 3 women everyday.
fitlosophy rallied five influential and diverse healthy-living bloggers to SPEAK UP and share their personal stories in an effort to raise awareness using the viral power of social media methods such as blogs, Twitter, and Facebook. The 5 bloggers include:
- Shay Sorrells: A contestant on Season 8 of NBC's hit reality television series "The Biggest Loser." www.shaysorrells.com

Throughout the campaign, the BLOG YOUR HEART OUT team will be using fitbooks to track two areas proven to help prevent heart disease: heart-healthy diets and exercise. Additionally, the bloggers will be encouraging their networks to join the Go Red Movement online at GoRedForWomen.org and tell 5 people in their network about the free program.
In addition to the 5-week campaign, fitlosophy is hosting the second annual BLOG YOUR HEART OUT DAY on February 11th where bloggers around the globe are asked to SPEAK UP against heart disease using their blogs and social networks to spread the word about this preventable disease.
