CMSI launches first online registry for medical marijuana patients

Cannabis Medical Solutions Inc. (http://www.cannabismedsolutions.com/) (OTCBB:CMSI), a leading company specializing in merchant payment solutions and financial products for the medical marijuana and healthcare industries, today announced that the company has successfully launched and is in the beta-testing phase of the first online registry for medical marijuana patients and listing service for collectives in all approved states. The state of the art site and secure platform located on the world wide web at www.CannabisXchange.com will allow approved and registered patients to search and join collectives within their geographic area and state. The secure patient platform and website requires patients to register, upload valid documents and receive approval for use of the system. Once approved, the software which identifies patients demographically by IP address, will allow patients to search, see all medicine, strains and products available to each member of a particular collective, read information on caregivers, contact physicians, and see vendors providing everything from seeds to edibles.

"We have been awaiting the launch of www.cannabisXchange.com for some time now by our software engineering partners, and we are very pleased that we have reached the beta launch this week. For the first time, newly approved patients can join a specific collective online, search all medicine and strains offered, and reserve medicine to be picked up within the licensed dispensary or location. Verification of all documentation is provided by the software platform, which is then forwarded to the caregiver chosen by the patient in a secure transaction. We are expecting several thousand patients within the approved states to register at the exchange over the next several months. There are no fees to patients. Caregivers, vendors and dispensaries will eventually pay a monthly or annual listing fee to receive access to the site and patients seeking to join caregivers in their area," stated Michael Friedman, acting CEO for Cannabis Medical Solutions.
