Conexus Inc. announces its Plexus Asset Tracking System is operational at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, TX, and its associated outlying clinics. Brooke Army Medical Center and its associated outlying clinics went live with over 48,000 trackable assets in the Plexus database. Over 3,200 of the high-dollar trackable assets are being tracked using state-of-the-art Ekahau RTLS technology, one of the many technologies Plexus Vision is capable of working with.
Plexus is a renowned tracking system that utilizes RTLS, RFID and Bar Code Technologies to capture asset and workflow-critical data, such as location of equipment, duration in a specific location, asset status, asset utility and 20-plus other asset and workflow-relevant data applications. The Plexus software is scalable from a single clinic or department to an enterprise system that allows local users to view only their critical data and give enterprise managers the ability to view and analyze the entire enterprise.
Brooke Army Medical Center chose Conexus' Plexus Vision software for their RFID tracking project, where they tagged and are now tracking high-dollar, mobile medical equipment. The staff members from Biomedical Engineering, logistics and clinical users at Brooke Army Medical Center have reported that the software is very user-friendly and is exceeding all expectations.
