Houston, Texas, the home base of Rainbow Coral Corp.'s (OTCBB:RBCC) biosciences division, is bursting with potential customers for n3D's Bio-Assembler system. Just last month, the largest stem cell lab and bank in North America opened in Sugar Land, the city's fastest-growing suburb.
Opened by Celltex Therapeutics, the 15,000 sq ft facility will grow and bank stem cells with the potential to be used in medical treatments. The lab is precisely the kind of potential Bio-Assembler customer that RBCC plans to target once its transaction with n3D is finalized.
"Celltex Therapeutics is only the latest biotech company to set up shop in the Houston area," said RBCC CEO Patrick Brown. "The city leads the nation in National Institutes of Health funding. We're hard at work building our local business network in order to hit the ground running in marketing the Bio-Assembler system once a deal with n3D is reached."
Nano3D Biosciences' Bio-Assembler system allows cell researchers to grow three-dimension cell clusters that more closely resemble those found in the body more easily and affordably than ever before. The breakthrough could have extremely positive ramifications for labs like the one in Sugar Land.
