Nouveau Life explores line of specialty supplements for seniors

Nouveau Life Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Pink Sheets: NOUV), a provider of quality all-natural dietary supplements, announced today that the Company is exploring a line of specialty supplements for seniors.

Overall, 69 percent of U.S. adults use dietary supplements according to the 2011 CRN Consumer Survey on Dietary Supplements. However, dietary supplement use is greater among adults aged 55-plus than it is for younger generations. Seventy-eight percent of adults aged 55-plus use dietary supplements while only 60 percent of adults aged 18-34 do so.

"An 18 percent gap between generations is significant and certainly something that caught our attention," stated Nouveau Life CEO Melissa Walker. "This data point alone warrants an exploration of Nouveau's revenue potential within this market segment. But it's more than that for us. This is a segment of the population that has a greater depth of complex health issues than younger generations, and we believe we can help. Once again, it goes back to our basic growth strategy of addressing real health concerns in profitable markets."

Nouveau Life has just begun its market analysis for the line of specialty supplements for seniors.

"Our next step is to delve deeper into the specific types of products that could or should be included in a product line tailored to seniors," added Walker, "but the initial surface numbers look very promising."
