Blog summarizes discussion on HIV treatment for children under PEPFAR

The Center for Global Health Policy's "Science Speaks" blog describes "a public discussion [last] week of the Institute of Medicine's report" on PEPFAR, during which some experts raised the issue of HIV treatment for children. The blog summarizes the discussion, saying staff members of the Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator (OGAC) "responded that the office is working with other organizations to increase treatment access for children and soon will release new guidelines which will align pediatric treatment with adult treatment."
