Google to feature health-centered Google+ Hangouts for International Men's Health Month

Google, in partnership with WireBuzz.com and Prevention.com, will feature a series of health-centered Google+ Hangouts for International Men's Health Month. The live discussions will build awareness around men's health issues including diet and exercise, cancer, sexual health and more.

Using Google+ Hangouts, participants from all over the world are able to come together for live discussions and hear from celebrities, athletes and medical experts. Mark Scholz, MD, medical director of Prostate Oncology Specialists in Marina del Rey, executive director of Prostate Cancer Research Institute and author of "Invasion of the Prostate Snatchers: An Essential Guide to Managing Prostate Cancer for Patients and their Families" will discuss prostate cancer topics such as overtreatment, PSA testing and active surveillance today at 11:30 a.m. PDT.

Dr. Scholz states, "With prostate cancer, quality-of-life is important. Bad treatment decisions negatively affect sexual and urinary function for a lifetime."
