Locker rooms from local high school to NFL, concern about spread of deadly infections

In locker rooms from your local high school to the National Football League, concern about the spread of potentially deadly bacteria and infections are leading training staffs to take extreme measures to prevent outbreaks. Neutra Corp. (OTCBB: NTRR), a growing provider of all-natural wellness solutions, could be close to offering a solution to the problem.

The company announced today that its joint venture with Surface to Air Solutions (S2O2) is close to finalizing the acquisition of a Texas-based firm that has deployed a potentially lucrative anti-microbial coating capable of adhering to sporting equipment and facilities, preventing viral and bacterial contamination. The new product holds to promise of being the simple, effective and affordable solution to the growing issue of staph infections at all levels of sports.

Of particular concern is MRSA, a nasty bacteria resistant to antibiotics that can take hold in deep tissue, bone and blood vessels, causing severe symptoms and even death. Dr. Deverick Anderson of the Duke Infection Control Outreach Network reported last month that football players are 10-15 times more likely to contract MRSA than the general population, according to the Boston Globe. Studies by the Texas Department of State Health Services found even higher incidence among high-school players. Without a solution, infections could potentially cost leagues and school districts billions.

By permanently decontaminating shared surfaces, NTRR and its partners plan to help eliminate the risk of locker room infections from little-league sports to the pros. The company plans to announce the finalized acquisition within the next week.
