Trendlines Labs signs deal for collaboration with Roper St. Francis Healthcare

Trendlines Labs (a unit of the Trendlines Group) recently signed an agreement for collaboration with Roper St. Francis Healthcare.

Together, the parties will collaborate on the development of new medical device inventions and lower-cost solutions for known clinical problems. This partnership will also include inventing products for unmet medical needs identified by physicians and medical professionals.

Jacobo Mintzer, MD, director of the RSF Clinical Biotechnology Research Institute, leads the initiative at RSF, and will continue to work closely with top leadership at Trendlines as the partnership moves forward.

Experience, diversity and knowledge are the major components of strength in the collaboration, Dr. Mintzer said.

"As a part of our investment in medical device technology, we have decided to focus first on inventions," Dr. Mintzer said. "In order to do this, we established a multi-disciplinary group with knowledge and experience in a variety of technologies. This group will work closely with Trendlines Labs."

Yosi Hazan, CEO of Trendlines Labs, believes the collaboration with RSF confirms its model of establishing relationships and investing with smart decision makers and clinical experts in the medical industry.

"The robust clinical experience of RSF complements our technological and business knowledge and forges a powerful mechanism for medical innovation," Hazan said.
