Buckeye Health Plan (BHP) recognized Asif Younus, M. D., of Stark Pediatrics, Inc., in Canton with a Physician Summit Award, the company's highest designation for a health care provider. Summit Awards are given each year to primary care physicians and obstetricians for providing clinical excellence.
"Buckeye Health Plan is committed to recognizing outstanding Ohio providers for the excellent care they give to our members," said Ronald Charles, M.D. MHSA FACP FACHE, vice president, medical affairs for Buckeye Health Plan.
"We selected Dr. Younus based on our review of his HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) measures for the Buckeye members that he and Stark Pediatrics care for. Dr. Younus and his office staff are outstanding at providing important adolescent care to our members," he said.
